Terms of service

Effective from: 7 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Kontextual Collective Private Limited, which runs Sircl. They cover the website at sircl.ai and the app at app.sircl.ai. By creating an account or using Sircl you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Sircl.

If your organisation has a separate signed agreement with us, that agreement applies in place of these terms wherever the two differ.

1. Who we are

Sircl is a product of Kontextual Collective Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (CIN U62011KA2025PTC207216), with its registered office at C/o A R Manjunath, No. 198, Indiranagar IInd Stage, Indiranagar, Bangalore North, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka 560038, India. In these terms “Sircl”, “we” and “us” mean that company.

2. Who can use Sircl

Sircl is built for work. You may use it only if you are at least 18, you are using it for business or professional purposes, and you are able to enter into a contract. If you use Sircl on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm you have the authority to accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that organisation.

3. Your account

You sign in using a third-party account, or by any other method we offer. You may also be able to connect other services to Sircl. When you sign in with or connect a third-party service, that service’s own terms apply to your use of it, and you confirm that you are allowed to connect it.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to it secure and tell us at support@sircl.ai if you think someone else has used it. One account is for one person. Please do not share it.

If you use Sircl inside an organisation’s workspace, that organisation’s owners and administrators manage the workspace. They decide who is in it and how its shared usage is divided, and content created in the workspace is visible to them.

4. What Sircl does

Sircl is automated software that helps you find, assess and reach the people and companies you are looking for, based on what you tell it about your work and what you are after. Its features are described on our website and in the app, and they change as the product develops.

Sircl may draft messages for you. Sircl does not send messages for you. You decide whether to send anything, and you send it yourself from your own account.

Sircl uses artificial intelligence models and information from third-party sources. That has consequences you should know before you rely on it:

  • It can be wrong. Information about a company or a person may be out of date, incomplete or mistaken, and an assessment is a reasoned reading of that information, not a fact.
  • It tells you what it could not check. Where Sircl cannot verify something, it says so. Treat those gaps as questions to answer, not as a pass or a fail.
  • The decision is yours. Sircl helps you decide who to find, speak to, shortlist or approach, and it can organise people who have applied to you against your brief. It does not decide for you, and you must not treat its output as the only basis for a decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on a person, such as rejecting a job applicant. A person on your side must review the output and make the decision.

Reviewing applicants. You can use Sircl to review people who have applied to you. When you do, Sircl reads only what you or the applicant provide, such as resumes, cover letters, application answers and links the applicant included, together with your brief. It does not search for or add information about applicants from any other source. Before Sircl assesses an applicant, it removes details such as name, age, photos and zip code or postcode. Sircl organises applicants against your brief and gives its reasons. Every applicant stays visible. Sircl does not reject anyone and does not decide who to interview or hire.

You are responsible for your hiring process and your decisions, and for complying with the employment, anti-discrimination, privacy and automated-decision laws that apply to you. In particular, you must:

  • have a person on your side review Sircl’s output and make each decision
  • write briefs and criteria that relate to the role, and not use protected characteristics or anything that stands in for them, such as age, graduation year or a maximum number of years of experience
  • give applicants any notice the law requires about your use of automated tools, and offer a reasonable accommodation or another way to be considered where the law requires it
  • keep any records of your hiring process and of Sircl’s results that the law requires you to keep, and save a copy of results you need before you delete them or close your account
  • not use Sircl to assess applicants where a law, such as New York City’s law on automated employment decision tools, requires a bias audit or similar assessment before such a tool is used, unless that requirement has been met

We handle applicant information on your behalf and on your instructions, as our privacy policy explains.

We do not promise any particular result from using Sircl, such as a hire, a sale or a reply.

5. Plans, usage and payment

Plans. Sircl is sold as subscription plans. Each plan runs for a subscription period and comes with a usage limit, which you can raise during that period by adding usage. The plans on offer, their periods and their prices are shown on our pricing page. We may change what we offer. A change does not affect a plan you have already paid for until its expiry date.

Expiry date. Every plan you buy or activate has an expiry date, which is the date its subscription period ends. It is shown when you buy the plan and in the app. Wherever these terms and our refund and cancellation policy say “expiry date”, they mean that date.

Usage. Anything you do in Sircl that needs processing draws on your usage. That includes running searches and assessments, chatting with Sircl and creating or changing criteria. How much something uses depends on what you ask for. Before a run starts, Sircl estimates the usage it will need and sets that amount aside. The estimate is approximate. Your total usage and what you have left are shown in the app.

Running out. Sircl does not let your usage go below zero. If your usage runs out while something is in progress, it stops, and work that was not finished may not be kept. Usage already spent on it is not returned.

Carry-over. If your plan renews, usage you have not spent carries over into the new period. If your plan does not renew, unused usage expires on your expiry date. Added usage follows the same rules.

Renewal. Unless you cancel, your plan renews automatically on its expiry date for a further period, and you are charged for that period at renewal.

Payment. Payments are handled by one or more payment partners. A payment partner may act as merchant of record. Where it does, it is the seller named on your receipt, it takes the payment and collects any tax that applies where you are, and its own terms apply to the purchase alongside these terms. Prices on our site are shown in US dollars unless we say otherwise, and do not include tax. You may be charged in your local currency.

Price changes. We may change our prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and it will apply from your next renewal after that. If you do not accept the change, you can cancel before it takes effect.

Refunds and cancelling. These are covered by our refund and cancellation policy, which is part of these terms. In short: you can cancel at any time, cancelling stops your plan renewing, and payments already made are not refunded, except where we close your account without cause or stop offering Sircl, as that policy explains.

6. What you give Sircl

“Your content” means what you put into Sircl: the description of your work and goals, what you ask for, your criteria, and any lists, documents, resumes or notes you upload, paste in or bring in from a service you connect.

Your content stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to run Sircl for you, to keep the service secure and working, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not use your personal information to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not allow the model providers we use to do so.

You are responsible for your content. By putting it into Sircl you confirm that you have the right to use it this way. Where your content includes information about other people, such as resumes of candidates, you confirm that you obtained it lawfully and that you have told those people what the law where you operate requires you to tell them.

Do not put into Sircl anything you are not allowed to share, or information about a person’s health, religion, ethnicity, sexual life, political opinions, trade union membership, criminal record or similar sensitive matters.

7. What Sircl gives you

“Results” means what Sircl produces for you, such as criteria, assessments and their reasons, maps, drafts and written summaries.

You may use your results for your own work, or for the work of the organisation you are using Sircl for. You may share a result with colleagues, clients or the person it concerns.

Results often include information about people and companies that comes from third-party sources. You do not gain any rights in that underlying information beyond using it within your results, and what you do with it is your responsibility. In particular, you are responsible for complying with the privacy, anti-spam, employment and anti-discrimination laws that apply to you when you contact, assess or make decisions about people.

We do not promise to keep your results for ever. Sircl changes, and a change may mean that older results, or the features that produced them, are altered or withdrawn. Where a change means results you can see today will stop being available, we will tell you beforehand and give you reasonable time to save a copy.

8. What you must not do

You must not use Sircl to:

  • build, sell, rent, publish or pass on a database or list of people or contact details, or extract results in bulk for use outside your own work
  • send spam, bulk or automated messages, or any message that breaks any applicable law
  • discriminate unlawfully, including by writing criteria that select or exclude people based on race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, national origin or any other characteristic protected by law
  • harass, stalk, intimidate or keep watch on any person, or look into someone’s private life
  • rely on any result that includes information Sircl obtained about a person from sources other than you or that person, such as a search or sourcing result, as a factor in deciding whether that person is eligible for employment, credit, insurance, housing or any other purpose covered by the US Fair Credit Reporting Act or a similar law, or check a person’s background in a way that is regulated as a consumer or background report. Sircl is not a consumer reporting agency and results are not consumer reports
  • look up or assess anyone you know or suspect to be under 18
  • break any law, or infringe anyone else’s rights

You also must not:

  • copy, resell or offer Sircl to others as your own service
  • reverse engineer Sircl, or try to obtain its prompts, criteria logic or underlying data, except where the law gives you a right we cannot exclude
  • try to manipulate Sircl’s artificial intelligence, for example by prompt injection, into ignoring its instructions, revealing how it works or doing something it is not meant to do
  • probe, scan or attack Sircl, gain or attempt unauthorised access to its systems or to anyone else’s account or data, or introduce malicious code
  • access Sircl with scripts, bots or other automated means, or get around its usage limits or security
  • interfere with Sircl or with anyone else’s use of it

We may refuse or stop anything you run that we reasonably believe breaks this section, any of our policies or any applicable law.

9. Where the information comes from

To find and read companies and people, Sircl draws on business data supplied by third-party data providers, on public sources, and on the services and material you bring to it. It uses third-party artificial intelligence models to read that information and write its results.

We choose these sources and providers with care, and we may change them. We do not control them, and we cannot promise that what they supply is accurate, complete or current, or that any particular company or person will be found.

Some of this data reaches us on the provider’s own terms. You may use it only to view and work with your results within Sircl, for your own work, and within the limits in section 8. You get no rights in it beyond that. We may change, limit or stop using any source or provider at any time, including where a provider asks us to. No particular source, provider or volume of data is part of your plan, and a change in our sources does not entitle you to a refund.

10. Our property

Sircl, including its software, design, methods, prompts and trademarks, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms give you a right to use Sircl while your plan is active. They do not give you ownership of any part of it.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely and without owing you anything.

11. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it. It also covers people who appear in results.

If you upload information about other people and data protection law requires a written agreement between you and us for that, write to support@sircl.ai and we will provide our standard data processing addendum, which forms part of these terms once you accept it.

12. Suspending or ending your access

You can stop using Sircl, cancel your plan or ask us to delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if a payment is reversed or disputed, if the law requires it, or if your use puts Sircl or other people at risk. Where the matter is serious, we may do this immediately and without notice. Otherwise, where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right. If we close your account because you broke these terms, or because a payment was reversed or disputed, payments already made are not refunded.

We may also stop offering Sircl or any part of it, or close an account for any other reason. Where we reasonably can, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice. If we close your account for any other reason, or stop offering Sircl altogether, we will refund the unused part of your current subscription period and any added usage you have not spent, as our refund and cancellation policy explains. Changing or withdrawing a feature is not stopping Sircl.

When your account closes, your right to use Sircl ends. You can ask us for a copy of your content and results within 30 days of closure. After that we delete them from our live systems, as our privacy policy explains.

13. No warranties

Sircl is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, whether express or implied, including that Sircl will be uninterrupted or free of errors, that results will be accurate or complete, or that Sircl is fit for any particular purpose.

14. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss
  • we are not liable for decisions you make, or actions you take, on the basis of results
  • our total liability to you for all claims connected with Sircl is limited to the amount you paid for Sircl in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.

15. Your responsibility to us

If someone brings a claim against us because of your content, because of how you used Sircl or its results, or because you broke these terms or the law, you will cover the reasonable costs, including reasonable legal fees, and the losses we incur as a result. We will tell you about the claim promptly and will not settle it without talking to you.

16. Changes

We improve Sircl continually, so features may be added, changed or removed.

We may also update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Sircl after that date, you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, you can cancel your plan or delete your account before they take effect.

17. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute connected with them. However, we may also bring a claim to recover amounts you owe us, or seek an injunction or other urgent relief to protect Sircl, our rights or other people, in the courts of the place where you are based or any other court with jurisdiction. If you have a concern, please write to us first at support@sircl.ai. Most things can be sorted out that way.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law of the place you live that cannot be waived by contract.

18. General

These terms, with the refund and cancellation policy and the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Sircl. If part of them is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term, that is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, an acquisition or a sale of our business. We are not responsible for a failure caused by something outside our reasonable control.

We will send notices to the email address on your account. Send notices to us at support@sircl.ai.
